HVAC
Why is airflow from my vents so weak?
What’s likely going on
A clogged air filter is the most common and simplest explanation — it restricts how much air the system can push through at all. Beyond that, blocked or leaking ductwork, or a struggling blower motor, can cause the same symptom for a very different reason.
Is this a DIY job or worth calling someone?
Checking the filter is a safe, five-minute first step that solves this often enough to be worth doing before anything else. If airflow is still weak with a clean filter, that's a real duct or system inspection, not something to diagnose by feel.
Not sure, or ready to have someone take care of it?
